This website is operated by Frontier Guns & Ammo, the retail division of the Frontier group, together with Frontier Bullets, its manufacturing division. In these terms "Frontier", "we", "us" and "our" mean the Frontier company that sells to you, and "you" means the person using this website or buying from us.

2. Using this website
By using this website or placing an order you agree to these terms, our Privacy & PAIA notice, our Returns Policy and our Firearms Compliance notice. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. You must be 18 or older to place an order.
You may use the website for your own lawful, personal or business purposes. You may not use it in a way that damages it, interferes with other users, or tries to gain access to parts of it that are not public.
3. Products, prices and availability
- All prices are in South African rand and include VAT at the current rate.
- Stock levels and prices shown on the website are taken from our in-store system and are updated regularly, but they can change between the time you look and the time you order. Stock shown at a branch is not reserved until an order is confirmed.
- Product photos are for illustration. Packaging, colours and minor specifications can differ from the item supplied.
- If a price or description on the website is clearly wrong, we are not obliged to sell at that price. We will tell you and you may accept the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
4. What can be bought online
Accessories, optics, reloading equipment, gear, clothing and similar items that show a price and an Add to Cart button can be bought and paid for online.
Firearms and ammunition are not sold through the online checkout. They are available by enquiry, quotation or reservation only, and every sale is subject to the Firearms Control Act 60 of 2000 and to verification of your licence and competency. Read our Firearms Compliance notice for how this works. We may also restrict or refuse the online sale of other regulated items.
5. Orders
When you place an order you make an offer to buy. You will receive an order reference and a confirmation. A binding sale comes into being once we have received payment and accepted the order. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, a price was wrong, or payment cannot be verified. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund the full amount you paid.
Quotations for firearms and ammunition are valid for the period stated on the quotation and are subject to stock availability and licensing.
6. Payment
- Card and instant EFT are processed by PayFast, a registered payment service provider. We never see or store your full card details.
- Manual EFT: use your order reference as the payment reference. Your order is processed once the funds reflect in our account. Unpaid EFT orders may be cancelled after 3 business days.
- Payment in store can be made by the methods offered at the counter.
7. Delivery and collection
- Courier: we deliver to street addresses within South Africa. The courier fee is shown at checkout before you pay. Delivery normally takes 2 to 5 business days after payment has cleared; outlying areas can take longer. Someone aged 18 or older must sign for the parcel.
- Collection: you may collect from our Wilkoppies (Klerksdorp) store or the Stilfontein factory during opening hours once we tell you your order is ready. Please bring your order reference and identity document.
- Ownership passes to you once we have received payment in full. Risk passes to you when the goods are delivered or collected.
- Some items are marked collection only and cannot be couriered.
8. Cancelling, returns and warranty
Your rights to cancel an online order, to return goods and to have defective goods repaired, replaced or refunded are set out in our Returns Policy. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) or ECTA.
9. Safe and lawful use
Firearms, ammunition, reloading components, knives and self-defence products are dangerous if misused. You are responsible for using, storing and transporting what you buy safely and within the law. Reloading data, load information and advice given by us or printed by manufacturers is a guide only: start low, work up carefully and follow the component manufacturer's published data. Handloaded ammunition is used entirely at your own risk.
10. Our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by incorrect use, modification, handloading, poor maintenance or unlawful use of any product. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as courier delays, load-shedding, strikes or supplier shortages. None of this limits any liability that cannot be excluded under the CPA.
11. Website content
The text, photos, logos and designs on this website belong to Frontier or to the brands we sell and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written permission. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If we cannot, you may approach the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud or the courts. You consent to the jurisdiction of the Magistrate's Court having jurisdiction, even if the amount in dispute would otherwise exceed its limit.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page on the day you place an order applies to that order.
